AGI Automation LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the HxF mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Information We Collect

Health & Fitness Data

When you grant Apple HealthKit permissions, we may access health metrics including:

Steps, distance walked, and flights climbed
Heart rate and resting heart rate
Sleep analysis data
Active energy burned and exercise minutes
Workout history and activity data
Body measurements (height, weight) if provided

Purpose: This data is used solely to provide personalized AI health insights and recommendations. When you ask health-related questions, a summary of relevant health data may be included with your request to generate more accurate, personalized responses.

Photos & Camera

When you use the food photo analysis feature, images are processed by our AI to provide nutritional information. Photos are not stored permanently and are used only for the immediate analysis.

Audio Data

Voice input is converted to text using speech recognition for hands-free interaction. Audio is processed in real-time and not stored.

Device Identifiers

We generate a random device identifier stored securely on your device. This is used for:

Authenticating API requests
Enforcing usage limits
Preventing abuse

This identifier is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal information.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous analytics about app usage (features used, session duration) to improve the app experience. This data is not linked to your identity and is used solely for product improvement.

How We Use Your Information

Provide AI-powered health insights and personalized recommendations
Generate custom workout plans and diet suggestions
Analyze food photos for nutritional information
Process voice input for hands-free interaction
Authenticate requests and prevent abuse
Improve app reliability and fix issues

Third-Party AI Services

To generate AI responses, your requests may be processed by third-party AI providers:

OpenAI (ChatGPT) - for conversational AI
Anthropic (Claude) - for conversational AI
Google (Gemini) - for conversational AI

These providers process requests to generate responses but do not retain your data for training purposes per our agreements with them.

ChatGPT Integration

When you connect HxF to OpenAI's ChatGPT, the following data practices apply. This section is provided in compliance with OpenAI's App Submission Guidelines.

Data Shared with OpenAI ChatGPT

When you use ChatGPT features, we may share the following data with OpenAI:

Health metrics summary (aggregated daily/weekly averages, not raw sensor data)
Nutrition logs (meal names, calorie counts, macronutrient breakdowns)
Workout history (exercise types, duration, intensity levels)
Recovery scores and readiness indicators

We do NOT share: medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, or Protected Health Information (PHI).

Data NOT Shared with ChatGPT

The following data is never transmitted to OpenAI:

Full conversation history from previous sessions
Raw HealthKit data or continuous sensor readings
Medical conditions, medications, or treatment information
Personal identifiers beyond what is strictly necessary for the request
Your Apple ID, email address, or account credentials

User Controls

You have full control over your ChatGPT integration:

Disconnect anytime: Revoke ChatGPT access from the app settings
Request data deletion: Contact us to delete any data shared with OpenAI
View shared data: Access an audit log of what data was sent to ChatGPT in your account settings
Granular permissions: Choose which health categories to include in ChatGPT requests

OpenAI's Use of Your Data

OpenAI processes your data under the following conditions:

No model training: Your health data is NOT used to train OpenAI's models
Encrypted storage: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
Isolated processing: Health data is processed in isolation and not combined with other users' data
OpenAI Privacy Policy: Data handling is also subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy

Minimum Data Collection

We follow data minimization principles:

Only data necessary for the specific requested function is transmitted
Data is aggregated and anonymized whenever possible
Detailed health metrics are only included when directly relevant to your query
We never share more data than required to fulfill your request

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

All data transmitted uses HTTPS encryption
API requests are signed with HMAC for authenticity
Sensitive data is stored in iOS Keychain
Health data stays on your device unless included in an AI request

Data Retention

We minimize data storage:

AI conversations are not permanently stored on our servers
Health data remains on your device
Photos are processed and immediately discarded
Usage counters are retained for subscription management

Your Rights & Choices

HealthKit Access: Revoke permissions anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > HxF
Camera & Microphone: Disable in iOS Settings > HxF
Data Deletion: Contact us to request deletion of any data we may have
Analytics: Disable analytics in the app's Privacy Settings

Children's Privacy

HxF is not intended for users under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by other means. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
